That is recently released official image of the Adventure Time 21308 set that will be produced in LEGO Ideas serie. The original fan project was submited by aBetterMonjey.
I consider myself to be a nerd, but Adventure Time animation is not hitting my sweet spot. LEGO version of it? That’s a different story 😉
LEGO announced on Facebook that DC Cube Dudes will first be available exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con but will then be available to everyone in 2017. Presumably they will be packaged exclusively for the convention and then sold worldwide in January. Each set of two figures will retail for $40 at the event, with one for sale each day.

Strongholder is a creature that is like living stronghold. Something like Ent is walking tree, Strongholder is a walking Castle. I see here some inspiration with one of the latest mixel series, but Crises claims it was inspired by some other toy. Either way it is crazy enough to be posted here.
Everybody and their dog are writing about new set LEGO has announced today. I will not do that, instead i want to present to you microscale version of it built by Rod Gillies
It is cute, isn’t it? And pretty true version of LEGO 71040 Disney Castle.
Traditional exhibition “ Lugs United ” will be held on 10th and 11th September 2016. at the premises of the Children’s Cultural Center Belgrade, at Takovska 8, Belgrade, Serbia.
The event is pretty big and it is something closest to Fan Weekend people of Balkan area have. There will be visitors from over 20 countries, and some prominent builders will sent their stuff even if they wont be able to come in flesh and body. You can expect works from such well known names as Mihai Marius Mihu, Sean and Steph Mayo, Alice Finch, Djordje Djokson, Kosmas Santosa, Arzlan, Nathaniel Shields, Absurde Letrange and many more.
Except usual MOCs exhibition and play areas there will be AFOL night (2 of them!), Ambassador meeting, presentations, AFOL Party, Cinebrick – presentation of fan brick built films.
Some of those attractions are for everybody, some just for exhibiting AFOLs. That is all very nice considering entrance is free.
Closer to the event we will remind you about it, meantime go to the Beokocka website for more info.
Remember the VolksWagen Beetle Expert set 10252 that was recently released? Luigi Priori has just built chibi version of it in a classic space style. Then the photo is stylized into 70’s postcard with a flower-power uncled of Benny the Spaceman as the driver.
Luigi admits he got inspired by Gerald Cacas with his chibi version of the Beetle built right after announcement of the 10252 set. The picture is stylized in a way of Benny’s adventures Luigi is publishing for some time. But that is a story for another post.
Djordie, member of Serbian Lego Club Beokocka has build a fish that is cute and scary. It reminds me somewhat of LEGO set 7978, but is so much more slick. The build is so good i will have nightmares 😉
Michał Kaźmierczak aka Migalart is building a spaceship fleet for his brick built comic book. He surely can photo edit to make his creations look great.
But if you want to admire the build more than pretty photo here is the version that will let you look at the great greebling. Notice how the small windows were made with plain 1×1 transparent plates and some gray tape.
I’m sure this is not the last time we will host Michał here. Oh and as a bonus, take a look at the ship from his comic in microscale:
