Radagast was twisted mage, no wonder his house looks a bit crazy, so does the build by David Hensel. Roofs made out of robots arms are not really that new, but here they fir perfectly. Everything with this build seems to look perfect – shapes, colors, photoediting create synergy that makes looking at this moc pure pleasure.

Anchorman
This minifig built by Paskal from Technic pieces is another proof that you do not need many bricks to build some thing cool. It is powerful in it’s simplicity. Rarely i see something that poseable.
This is real threat, an i bet it can inspire many builders. I would build an army of those characters myself, if only i was not busy with other projects…
100 years of firefighters history.
Galaktek has built a series of MOCs depicting Mercedes-Benz firefighting trucks throughout history. The trucks, ranging from about 1912 to 2012, are build in a LEGO Set style, being sturdy and playable. They even have some extra element for additional playability.
For more photos, see the links to any of the trucks:
– Benz Feuerwehr-Motorspritze (1912)
– Mercedes-Benz L 6600 (1950s)
– Mercedes-Benz L 322 (1959)
– Meredes-Benz Unimog 406 (1960s)
– Mercedes-Benz 1422 (1970s)
– Mercedes-Benz Atego (2005 and later)
Brick life is not always bright.
Brick builds are usually cheerful, bright and happy. That is not always the case. More serious and gloomy builds are pretty rare, and even rarer when done such well, as this MOC by Mike M.
There is so much depth in this build and so much emotions. You can feel depression of the figure in the photo, and it’s need to escape the pain. There are moments in life it can also resonate with me very deeply,
From the brighter sides, notice the illusion on the walls that makes lines seem to not be parallel. Great build!
More LEGO for nerds – LEGO Ideas 21308 Adventure Time set
That is recently released official image of the Adventure Time 21308 set that will be produced in LEGO Ideas serie. The original fan project was submited by aBetterMonjey.
I consider myself to be a nerd, but Adventure Time animation is not hitting my sweet spot. LEGO version of it? That’s a different story 😉
LEGO for Nerds
LEGO announced on Facebook that DC Cube Dudes will first be available exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con but will then be available to everyone in 2017. Presumably they will be packaged exclusively for the convention and then sold worldwide in January. Each set of two figures will retail for $40 at the event, with one for sale each day.

Strongolder
Strongholder is a creature that is like living stronghold. Something like Ent is walking tree, Strongholder is a walking Castle. I see here some inspiration with one of the latest mixel series, but Crises claims it was inspired by some other toy. Either way it is crazy enough to be posted here.
Disney’s Cindirella Castle
Everybody and their dog are writing about new set LEGO has announced today. I will not do that, instead i want to present to you microscale version of it built by Rod Gillies
It is cute, isn’t it? And pretty true version of LEGO 71040 Disney Castle.
Postcard from the past – Chibi VW Beetle in classic space style.
Remember the VolksWagen Beetle Expert set 10252 that was recently released? Luigi Priori has just built chibi version of it in a classic space style. Then the photo is stylized into 70’s postcard with a flower-power uncled of Benny the Spaceman as the driver.
Luigi admits he got inspired by Gerald Cacas with his chibi version of the Beetle built right after announcement of the 10252 set. The picture is stylized in a way of Benny’s adventures Luigi is publishing for some time. But that is a story for another post.
