Celebrate 60 years of the Brick with Zbudujmy. To! and LEGO.

This year is 60th anniversary of the brick! To celebrate it Zbudujmy To! with help of Lego is organizing 2 contests.

First one, is about building something cool out of as close as 60 bricks as possible, second one is just about building something cool.

60 bricks for 60th brick anniversary

What Would You Build?

Here are links to the contests, unfortunately rules are in Polish, but if you want to take part in the contest and need help,  just send me a message here or on Facebook.

The prizes are set that Lego made for the 60th anniversary for 3 top entries, and some polybags will be drafted among all participants – the more entries – the more polybags!

Moon 1969 – first step on the moon.

Here is another entry for Ideas’s LEGO Moments in Space contest. This one depicts first step of the moon. If you want to have it as gift with purchase set on Shop@Home, please vote for it here.

Funny story is, when i started building it got a little bit carried away. The number of elements is right, as both versions have about 300 of them, but the size is 2 times too big 🙂

I like the look of it a lot, but the contest version is the small one.

Please also check my other try at this contest here:  http://crazy.builders/2018/02/10/3-2-1-liftoff/

3… 2… 1… LIFTOFF!!!

This is my entry into LEGO Moments in Space contest on IDEAS.

If you like it,  please vote and it may become Gift with Purchase Set available at Shop@Home.  The set has 2 modes – first is the rocket standing on a platform that can be great ornament on any shelf, second is the rocket in the very moment of start, which looks even greater.

Book about LEGO House

There will be unique book available in LEGO House that is centered on LEGO House creation. First edition is only 2000 copies.  So pretty rare. Here is more info:

Title: Building a Dream

Author: LEGO House and e-types.

Price: 249 DKK – The book can only be purchased at LEGO® House in Billund.

Language: English.

Edition: 2000 pcs.

Idea development and construction of LEGO House has taken seven years. On 28 September 2017, a proud director, Jesper Vilstrup, finally opened the doors to Denmark’s newest experience center together with the royal family and with the attention of world press.

LEGO® House is a unique experience house located in the center of Billund – Home of the Brick. Here, LEGO fans of all ages can experience the magic of the LEGO universe and get the ultimate LEGO experience all year round. Both kids and adults meet a number of new LEGO experiences and a sea of LEGO bricks, where you can unleash your creativity.

The heart of the 12.000 m2 LEGO House is the experience zones which consist of four colored play areas, a spectacular Masterpiece Gallery, where fans can exhibit their impressive creations and a History Collection, where guests experience the company’s and LEGO brand’s development over time.

Building a Dream is built as a combined interview and photo book, which both tells the vision behind the house and through great photos shows the development of idea and building. Three people have been at the heart of the project: Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen, 3rd generation LEGO owner, Jørgen Vig Knudstorp, chairman of LEGO Brand Group and Bjarke Ingels, international architect.

Photos are taken by photographer Jens Honoré.

Wooeden Roller Coaster

I always wanted to build roller coaster out of the Lego bricks, but after i have seen this construction by Chairudo i will pass. Won’t build anything half as impressive.

Then there is that new roller coaster system LEGO is releasing in 2018 sets, that makes building your home version of a roller coaster track much more possible.
