Third 2016 LEGO Ideas review results!

So we now have long awaited third 2016 lego ideas review results!

Here is list of competing projects and results:

A big congratulations to JakeSadovich77 on becoming the next official LEGO Ideas fan designer!

As an avid LEGO builder, Jacob Sadovich was inspired to create his LEGO Ship in a Bottle, The Flaship Leviathan, following a real-life ship in a bottle that he had built just a few years ago.

There was also one more project selected to be made Lego Ideas set:

Voltron – Defender of the Universe

A big congratulations to len_d69 on becoming the next official LEGO Ideas fan designer!

Leandro’s passion for Voltron started at a very young age when his parents bought him a Voltron toy. From that moment on Leandro was hooked. Building with LEGO bricks allowed Leandro to celebrate his passion for Voltron – Defender of the Universe even more.

And next time one of the following sets will be made official LEGO Set.

What do YOU think it will be?

Do you like GBC?

Do you like GBC? Who does not?

This time we have a GBC track from LUGPol’s exhibition in Chojnice 2017. What is interesting is that most if not all of those modules are completely custom and never seen in other setups. The AT-AT factory is one of the ones that shine especially bright.

Authors of this GBC loop are are:

Jan Biela Abreu ‘Jahoo’
Grzegorz Kurkowski ‘Noniusz’
Łukasz Alagierski ‘Jarema’
Krystian Kubrak ‘Kubrick’

Crazy Builders new logo animation.

I have built this logo some time ago with a little help of my rabbit Krusia. Now, thanks to Kamil Wolnikowski, also known as Jammer on C64 demo-scene, we have it sound enhanced! Thank you Kamil!

This logo will be used on youtube channel and all upcoming videos that were waiting to be published until it’s ready 😉 Tune in as they are coming soon.

Your new LEGO Bricks lighting system!

No it is not made by LEGO. It is made by i-brix debuting on kickstarter, but it is what you always dreamed about. No batteries, no wires, great lights size of 1×1 brick! It powers the lights virelessly which allows great freedom of building. All you have to do is keep the lights not higher than 20 cm (8inches) over the power plate that comes in 2 sizes 16×16 and 33×32 studs.

Here is review of early prototype by Jangbrix:

Or go to i-brix kickstarter page to back it up. I already did.

Sia – Chandelier

Trying to mimic dance with a Lego minifigure is a crazy thing.  Minifig legs that have no knees make this task a real challenge. Challenge  that was picked up by Jacob Shrimpton. Watch above video and tell how well do you think that worked? Or take a look at comparision video below:

This is not first Lego Music Video from Jacob, and i guess not the last.

Meet us at Pixel Heaven

Boulder Dash is going to Pixel Heaven

Pixel Heaven is a great retro-gaming, indie and demo scene event in Poland. It is being held for the 5th time, and this time there will be also Zbudujmy.to‘s exhibition there.

It is being held between 26 and 28 of May in Old Bus Depot, at  Włościańska 52 str. in  Warsaw, POLAND. Except usual attractions we will have town diorama 25 square meters in size, plus selection of game and geek related models especially build for the event. You will also be able to play with interactive brick models and build your own creations. We will also have resolution of our Brickheads contest, well at least the gaming part of it. The rest of the contest will be held online so if you want to take part in it there is still chance, here are the rules. If Polish is not your language and you want to take part, then let me know in the comments and i will explain it.

Crazy Builders will be also present there, and Jetboy will be giving out presentation about similarities of the demo scene and the AFOL world. This time presentation will be in Polish, but we are already thinking about making a version in English.

Event bricks are ready already:

As the event is taking place in the Bus Depot, we have also something built for that occasion by one of Zbudujmy.to forum members Pablo :
