If you are one of those crazy afols that go to Skaerbaek Fan Weekend in Denmark, you would be interested that Monday programme has been announced.

This time it is visit at construction site of LEGO house, and usual visit to the Employee Shop.

Also Signup for Big Box od LEGO started at the same time, so if you are going to attend the event be quick, as the spots are going out quickly.

What is LEGO House?

LEGO House is going to be a hands-on minds-on experience center where children and fans of all ages can experience the endless possibilities of the LEGO brick. It will be a place where the visitors are offered an active and fun as well as educational and inspiring experience based on everything that LEGO play has to offer.

GARC by Blake Foster is a perfect example how adding some stickers can bring a lot of details to the model. Without those orange stripes and other ornaments, this model would not look as awesome. On a model that scale it wouldnt be possible to add so much depth and texture.

I feel inspired to try more stickers in my works. Thanks Blake!

Flickr group Lego Military Models is organizing another round of it’s contest. Previous editions resulted in really great MOCs, some of them considered the best brick military models. If you are military builder, try your skills in one of the 5 categories:

10252 Volkswagen Beetle creator expert announced

Lego revealed today another set from Creator Expert serie. Iconic car is not the first brick construction in the company portfolio coming from VW. There was VW Camper as well as mini VW Camper, and of course 10187 version of the Beetle that was a lot more blocky than this super slick car in azure-blue.

Modular Hospital by Pakita

Modulars are very popular LEGO serie, no wonder AFOLs make their own additions to the serie. Take look at this beautiful hospital build by LUGPol’s Pakita. That is her first take at modular, so i wonder what else she could build if she start with such a beauty.

The build includes registration and small storeroom, first floor has an operation room and intensive care section, second floor has maternity ward, head offices and a toilet. Minifigs can move around thanks to an elevator, that actually works.
